Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, she comes from a family that has always appreciated the larger breeds of dogs. She loves spending time with her friends, family members, and first-ever kittens.

Cristina
Cristina is a licensed Veterinary Technician with over 8 years of experience. She studied at the College of Southern Nevada and is a proud Las Vegas native. Cristina is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses to stay current in the veterinary field. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether paddleboarding at the lake, hiking, or off-roading with her significant other and her dog, Juliette. She is also a dedicated member of the HEART Peer Support Program, where she helps individuals affected by mass violence.

Sim
My name is Sim. I was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Las Vegas with my husband in 2024, where I shortly began working at Summerlin Animal Hospital. Growing up, my family and I had many different pets, ranging from cats and dogs to ferrets and trantualas... and I have loved animals ever since. While I had previous experience working with animals, it is my first time doing so at a veterinary office, and I truly enjoy being a part of this team.

Toonizhoni "Tooni"
Hello, my name is Tooni, short for Toonizhoni. I am a front desk receptionist here at Summerlin Animal Hospital, and I am glad to greet you and your pets. My family and I own two dogs and one parrot, named Sage, Ashikil, and Pepee. I was born in Pinon, AZ, but raised between my hometown and Las Vegas, NV. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my family and dogs, and being a student at UNLV.

Jan
With more than 34 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Jan Martiniak brings deep knowledge, compassion, and dedication to animal care. For the past 24 years, she has been a valued team member at Summerlin Animal Hospital, working alongside Dr. Frank Reynolds. A long-time Las Vegas resident for over 27 years, she attended the University of Illinois and has continued to share her lifelong love for animals, both professionally and personally. Outside the clinic, she devotes time to caring for several small families of feral cats and enjoys quiet moments at home with her beloved cat, Sooty. In her free time, she can often be found sewing, cooking, or relaxing with Sooty on her lap while watching classic films.
